Lauren found her passion as an ESL teacher over 20 years ago after previously working in the field of medicine.  She loves teaching at ODE, where both her students and colleagues continue to inspire her.  Lauren strives to make learning fun, active and relevant to her students’ lives. She likes to connect students with learning resources as well as opportunities to have fun and be active in the community.  She encourages learners to join ODE’s conversation partner program. Lauren says, “it’s a fun way to practice English, gain confidence, learn about Ithaca, and make a new friend.”
