Fazilee began teaching English in Peru in 2010, after receiving her TESL certificate. She then explored other careers and countries, trying her hand at childcare, assistant teaching in special needs classrooms, customer service, administrative work, peacebuilding and mediation, as well as facilitating Nonviolent Communication and leadership workshops. She has been exploring and developing her teaching and communication skills for over a decade while also exploring six different countries. The dynamic and engaging learning environment and community at Open Doors English reignited her passion for teaching English in 2022, and she has enjoyed learning from and connecting with students from many different countries.
